At NBEC Electrical Contractors, we pride ourselves on reliability and trust. We’re MCS certified, fully insured and registered with NICEI and Hies – all of which give our customers more peace of mind.
That’s why we’re delighted to add TrustMark approval to our list. This also means we’ll be able to assist our customers with the new Green Homes Grant, worth up to £5,000.
TrustMark is a Government-endorsed scheme which aims to take the uncertainty out of finding a contractor. It was established in 2005 with the main objective of protecting consumers.
The scheme includes a vast array of trades from roofers, builders and plumbers to gardeners, decorators and of course electricians. Whatever the industry, contractors are thoroughly vetted in three key areas:
Above all else, TrustMark allows you to find a contractor with confidence. Choosing a TrustMark registered business or sole trader means you don’t have to worry about dodgy tradesmen, unfair prices or a substandard job.
As a company that has been delivering quality across TrustMark’s three key areas for several years, it’s great to have finally made the step up and obtained TrustMark approval.
Given that it ensures quality and competence when choosing a contractor, it’s no surprise that TrustMark is being used as part of the Government’s new Green Homes Grant Scheme. The scheme has been launched to make eco-friendly home improvements more affordable for homeowners and landlords in England.
In short, you can get a grant of up to £5,000 (or £10,000 for low-income homeowners) to use on any of the following:
Grants will cover two thirds of the cost of the work on your property up to the value of your voucher. To make sure the Government’s money is being well spent, vouchers are only available from TrustMark approved contractors.
Once you’ve checked your eligibility and chosen a suitable improvement for your home, you simply need to choose a certified installer and get a quote. You can then use your quote to apply for the voucher and save money on your home improvements.
At NBEC, we specialise in air source heat pump installation across South Yorkshire. By extracting heat from the outside air, heat pumps can provide low-cost, renewable heat for your home. Best of all, they’re eligible for the Green Homes Grant so you can reap the rewards at a fraction of the cost.
With TrustMark approval in place, NBEC is ready and waiting to help with your grant application. Get in touch with our team, who will be able to provide a free, no-obligation quote for your installation.
